Post-Concussion Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL

Cleared By Your Doctor, Not Your Body

A concussion diagnosis ends long before the symptoms do. If dizziness, headaches, or brain fog are still showing up weeks after you were cleared to return to activity, we find what's still driving them and build a plan around it, one-on-one, at our Orlando clinic on Hoffner Ave.

Cleared on Paper, But Your Body Hasn't Caught Up With That Yet

Dizziness That Shows Up Out of Nowhere

Dizziness or imbalance that lingers after a concussion is usually a vestibular system still trying to reset.

Headaches That Return the Moment You Push

Headaches triggered by screens, workouts, or noise mean your tolerance for exertion hasn't caught up yet.

Told the Timeline Is the Treatment

Time doesn't retrain a vestibular system or rebuild exertion tolerance. Targeted rehab does.

What Makes Us Different

A Plan Built Around What's Actually Still Off

Lingering post-concussion symptoms are rarely about the injury itself. Vestibular function, neck mobility, visual tracking, and exertion tolerance all factor into how you feel day to day. At our Orlando clinic, we assess each of these systems, then build your plan around what's actually driving your symptoms, not around the calendar.

Vestibular and Balance Assessment

We evaluate how your vestibular system, eyes, and neck are working together to pinpoint what's driving your dizziness or imbalance.

Graded Return-to-Sport Testing

Movement screens and return-to-sport testing rebuild your tolerance for activity in a structured, measurable way.

A Plan That Adjusts to Your Triggers

Whether screens, exercise, or crowded rooms set off your symptoms, your plan adjusts to address what's actually triggering them.

Common Challenges We Solve

How Lingering Post-Concussion Symptoms Show Up

No two recoveries look identical, but these are the patterns we see most often at our Orlando clinic.

Dizziness or imbalance that hasn't fully resolved

Headaches that flare with screen time or activity

Brain fog or trouble concentrating that lingers

Neck stiffness that started alongside the concussion

Trouble tracking fast movement or busy visual scenes

Nausea or lightheadedness with quick head movement

Cleared by a physician but not back to full training

Symptoms that resurface the moment you try to return

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about post-concussion physical therapy at our Orlando clinic.

Do I need a referral to start?

No. Florida is a direct access state, so you can come to us without a physician referral. If you're still in the acute stage of a concussion, get medical clearance first, then book a free discovery call to talk through your symptoms.

Can physical therapy help with symptoms that won't go away?

Yes. Vestibular rehab, neck mobility work, and graded exertion training can ease dizziness, headaches, and balance issues by addressing what's driving the dysfunction, rather than waiting for it to fade.

What's actually keeping my symptoms around this long?

Lingering symptoms are usually driven by a mix of vestibular dysfunction, neck involvement, and visual tracking issues, not the original injury alone. We assess each factor to find your specific cause and build a plan around it.

Do you accept insurance?

We're a cash-based clinic and don't bill insurance directly. That means a full 55 minutes one-on-one with your physical therapist every session. We accept cash, HSA, and FSA, and provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Is this available anywhere besides Orlando?

Not yet. Our Orlando clinic on Hoffner Ave is currently the only Core Values location offering vestibular and post-concussion care. Book a free discovery call to talk through your symptoms and confirm we're the right fit.
