About Core Values Physical Therapy and Wellness
Built by People Who've Been the Patient
Core Values Physical Therapy and Wellness was founded by someone who'd been the patient: a decade of chronic pain as an athlete, and a system that kept missing the mark. We exist to give you something better.

Root Cause. Real Answers. Real Progress.
Our founder built this practice after living it as a patient: chronic pain, repeated setbacks, and a system that kept missing the mark. At Core Values, we find the root cause and keep sport in the process, every time.
What Separates Us Starts with What We Believe
We built Core Values around beliefs most clinics don't follow: a root-cause approach, one-on-one sessions with no interruptions, and a philosophy that treats sport as part of your recovery, not the enemy of it.
We Treat the Cause, Not Just the Symptom
Most patients come to us after months of care that addressed their pain without addressing why it started. We go deeper.
One-on-One, Every Single Session
Every session is one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. No aides, no shared time, no 20-minute appointments.
Athletes Who Understand Athletes
Our team competes in CrossFit, HYROX, and endurance athletics. We don't just know the demands of training; we live them.
Science, Precision, and Real Results
We use evidence-based assessment, video gait analysis, and advanced manual therapy techniques. No guesswork, no generic protocols.
The Team Who Shows Up Every Session
Our care team is built around Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Rebecca Jones
PT, DPT, Cert-DN, Pelvic Health Specialist
Rebecca is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a decade of experience across private practice and hospital settings. As an athlete and a mother who battled chronic pain for over a decade, she founded Core Values Physical Therapy and Wellness to build the kind of care she wished had existed: one-on-one, 55-minute sessions that blend clinical reasoning, exercise, and manual therapy, tailored to each person's goals.
Raised in South Florida by a medical family, Rebecca developed her passion for sports and medicine early. She played multiple sports growing up, notably water polo, and graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's in exercise physiology from the University of Florida in 2007. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University in 2010, graduating with honors.
Rebecca's clinical experience spans sports medicine, orthopedics, chronic pain, pelvic health, and post-operative care. At Core Values, she brings that full range to bear on helping active adults return to the lives and activities they love.

Dr. Megan Ford
PT, DPT, Cert-DN, CFL1
Megan grew up in Dallas, Texas before moving to Florida in the early 2000s. A lifelong athlete, she competed in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, musical theater, and volleyball, playing as a setter/hitter at the collegiate level at UCF. She earned her bachelor's in Health Sciences from Lake Sumter State College and UCF before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with honors from AdventHealth University in 2021.
Megan's clinical background spans inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular rehab, and chronic pain management. She serves as Clinic Director at the Orlando location and is well known in Central Florida's competitive CrossFit and bodybuilding communities. Her passion for functional fitness and athletic performance runs through everything she does at Core Values.

Dr. Daniel Komforti
PT, DPT, Cert-DN
Daniel is a physical therapist with a lifelong passion for fitness, strength training, and helping people move and feel their best. Originally from Brooklyn and raised in South Florida, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020 before relocating to Orlando. He previously operated his own practice before joining Core Values PT as Clinic Director at the Winter Garden location.
Daniel specializes in spine-related conditions, with a clinical focus on how back and neck function influence the whole body. His approach blends hands-on treatment, education, lifestyle change, and performance-based training, helping active adults build strength, confidence, and long-term resilience. He holds certifications in Dry Needling, SFMA, and Performance Rehab Authority. Outside the clinic, Daniel enjoys lifting weights, spending time with his wife Emma and their puggle Plato, and continuing to learn.

Dr. Sierra Tate
PT, DPT, CSCS, FRCms
Sierra is a physical therapist and performance specialist with a lifelong background in dance, gymnastics, and cheer, giving her a unique eye for movement, coordination, and athletic development. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Florida International University and her B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science from UCF.
Sierra has worked with athletes at every level, from youth competitors to high school, collegiate, and NFL draft prep athletes, through clinical rotations and performance coaching roles at EXOS and Force Physical Therapy. Her experience ranges from post-operative rehab to speed work, plyometrics, strength training, and return-to-sport progressions. At Core Values PT, she specializes in bridging the gap between rehab and performance through evidence-based treatment, functional strength training, and individualized programming.

Dr. Shelbi Lynne
PT, DPT
Shelbi is a performance-based physical therapist originally from Louisville, Kentucky who specializes in helping active individuals get back to doing what they love. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at South College in Knoxville, where she now serves as an adjunct professor helping train future physical therapists.
A two-sport collegiate athlete in basketball and softball, Shelbi now competes in CrossFit and HYROX, giving her firsthand understanding of what high-intensity training demands from the body. She has worked with NBA and NFL athletes, competitive athletes, runners, and patients with neurological conditions, and is currently pursuing advanced training through the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
