Running Gait Analysis in Orlando, FL

See Exactly What's Breaking You Down

Guessing at your running form doesn't fix the underlying problem. Our video gait analysis reveals exactly what's driving your injury, so treatment has a real target and a real plan behind it.

You've Tried Stretching, Resting, and Icing. The Injury Is Still There.

Treated for Pain, Not for the Cause

Without knowing how you actually run, every treatment is a guess at what's driving the injury.

Generic Exercises With No Mechanical Feedback

Hip strengthening and calf raises won't fix a gait deviation that's loading the wrong structure every stride.

Injury Returns Every Time Mileage Builds

If no one has assessed how you run, they haven't found the cause. More rest just delays the same cycle.

What Makes Us Different

Video Gait Analysis That Gives You Real Answers

We film your running in real time, break down mechanics frame by frame, and build a treatment plan around what we find. You see what we see, so every intervention makes sense and the fix actually sticks.

Precision Mechanical Assessment

We analyze foot strike, cadence, hip drop, arm swing, and trunk position to find the specific deviations loading your injury site. Nothing is guessed at.

A Plan, Not Just a Report

The assessment is the start, not the finish. Every finding becomes part of a targeted treatment plan with progressions built to get you back to full mileage.

Common Challenges We Solve

Running Mechanics We Assess

These are the most common contributors to running injury. If gait analysis has never been part of your care, there's a good chance the root cause hasn't been found yet.

Foot strike pattern: overstriding, heel-striking, or forefoot loading issues

Cadence deviations that increase impact load per stride

Hip drop and pelvic instability during the stance phase

Arm swing asymmetries affecting trunk rotation and efficiency

Trunk lean, forward collapse, or lateral sway during load

Knee tracking and valgus patterns under fatigue

Strength and flexibility imbalances contributing to form breakdown

Danny and Rebecca are the best! I recently had a running analysis done with Danny, and he was able to pinpoint my weaknesses and areas that need improvement. They also provided me with specific exercises to help build strength and flexibility in the spots that are less mobile. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to improve your running form and overall performance!

Core Values Physical Therapy is absolutely the best for runners or anyone looking to help work through and injury, recover or even prevent injuries. I went to get a full body analysis today and was given excellent feedback, along with exercises I can do to stay healthy. She also did soft tissue work and cupping on my quads, as well as a running form analysis. I am a running coach myself and I send all my athletes to Core Values! Check them out!

I have been running for 10 years and struggled with why I’m not improving as much as I should. YouTube videos explained concept but not the how. I’ve been going to core values for 3 sessions now and already see improvements. The recordings and seeing how my form needed work was helpful. Then I was given specific exercises and running task to improve. The winter garden location has everything needed

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about running gait analysis at Core Values PT.

What does a running gait analysis involve?

We film your running form during a treadmill or track session and break it down frame by frame. We assess foot strike, cadence, hip mechanics, arm swing, and trunk position to identify the specific patterns loading your injury site. The findings drive your treatment plan.

Do I have to be injured to get a gait analysis?

No. Some runners use gait analysis as a preventive tool before an injury develops. If you're building mileage or training for a race and want to know your mechanical risk factors, an assessment can identify what to address before it becomes a problem.

Is gait analysis available at both locations?

We offer gait analysis at both our Orlando and Winter Garden locations. If you're planning to come to Winter Garden, confirm availability when you book, as equipment setup is being finalized there.

Can I keep training while getting a gait analysis and treatment?

Yes. We build running into your care from the start. The goal is to identify and address what's breaking you down while keeping you on the road, not benching you until symptoms resolve.

Do I need a referral for a gait analysis?

No. Florida is a direct access state, so you can come directly to us without a physician referral. Start with a free discovery call to talk through your injury history and find out what the analysis would look for in your case.
