Running Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL
No "Just Stop Running" Here.
You know how to push through. What you need is a provider who understands running well enough to keep you training while fixing the problem for good. That's the standard at Core Values PT.

You've Rested, Iced, and Stretched. The Pain Is Still There.
The Same Running Injury, Every Training Cycle
Rest delays the flare-up, it doesn't fix the cause. Without a real diagnosis, the injury comes back when training does.
Generic PT That Ignores the Way You Run
If your provider can't analyze your gait or understand running mechanics, they're guessing at what's breaking you down.
Training Around It Until Something Worse Breaks
Compensating for one injury creates another. A root-cause approach stops the cycle before it gets worse.
Running PT Built Around Staying in Your Training Plan
We don't ask you to choose between healing and running. We build your care around your training demands, use video gait analysis to find what's actually breaking you down, and get you back to full mileage with the mechanics to stay there.

Video Gait Analysis
We film your running form and break down mechanics, foot strike, cadence, and hip position to find the root of the injury. You see exactly what we see, so the fix makes sense.

Keep Running While You Heal
We modify your training load, not your entire lifestyle. Most patients continue running in some form throughout care, with progressions built in as they improve.

Strength Built for Runners
Weak hips, tight calves, and asymmetries drive most running injuries. We identify the gaps and build the strength work that keeps you running long after PT ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about running physical therapy at Core Values PT.
Do I have to stop running during treatment?
In most cases, no. We build a modified running plan into your care from the start. The goal is to keep you moving while addressing the underlying problem, not bench you until you feel better.
What is video gait analysis and do I need it?
Video gait analysis is a recorded assessment of how you run. We break down your mechanics frame by frame to identify inefficiencies, asymmetries, or load issues driving the injury. Most runners find it reveals something they've never been told before.
Can I keep training for my race while in PT?
Often yes, depending on the injury and timeline. We'll map your race schedule into the care plan so you understand what's realistic, what needs to be modified, and how to build toward race day safely.
Is running PT covered by insurance?
We're cash-based, which means no in-network insurance billing. We accept HSA and FSA, provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and no physician referral is needed in Florida. Start with a free discovery call to talk through options.
Why does my running injury keep coming back?
Most recurring running injuries share a root cause: a biomechanical inefficiency, strength imbalance, or training load issue that was never properly addressed. Treatment that only covers the painful area misses the underlying driver. We find and fix the cause, not just the symptom.
