Hands-On Manual Therapy in Orlando, FL
Not a Massage. A Treatment Plan.
Manual therapy at Core Values PT isn't passive treatment. Every technique we use, from joint mobilization to myofascial release, is part of a targeted plan designed to restore mobility, reduce pain, and build toward a lasting result.

Still Tight, Still Hurting? Passive Treatment Won't Fix That.
Massage That Feels Good but Doesn't Hold
Relief that fades by the next day means the restriction is still there. You need a clinical goal, not a temporary fix.
Being Told to Just Stretch More
Stretching alone won't fix a restricted joint. Real manual therapy targets the specific structure that's limiting you.
Pain That Keeps Coming Back Without a Plan
Manual therapy in isolation is passive treatment. Without a full plan built around it, the restriction comes back.
Manual Therapy as Part of a Complete Treatment Plan
We don't just loosen tissue and send you home. Every technique is connected to a clear clinical goal: restore mobility, reduce pain, and build a foundation for strengthening and return to activity. Passive treatment in isolation doesn't get people better. It's a tool, not a destination.

Advanced Manual Therapy Credentials
Our team includes a provider with FAAOMPT, a credential held by fewer than 1% of physical therapists. That training depth informs every hands-on session at Core Values PT.

Full Manual Therapy Toolkit
Joint mobilization, myofascial release, soft tissue work, trigger point therapy, IASTM, scraping, and cupping, all selected based on what your tissue and joints actually need.

Always Integrated, Never Passive
Manual therapy is one layer of your plan, not a standalone treatment. Every session moves you toward a clinical goal and builds into strengthening and functional movement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about manual therapy at Core Values PT.
Is manual therapy the same as massage?
No. Manual therapy is clinical and goal-directed. Each technique is chosen based on a specific mobility or tissue restriction identified during your evaluation, and every session is part of a larger treatment plan. Massage treats for relaxation or general tension. Manual therapy treats for a specific mechanical problem.
Will I need to keep coming forever?
No. The goal is to restore mobility and build on it with strengthening and functional movement so you don't need ongoing passive treatment. Most patients progress to an independent maintenance plan within a clear timeframe.
What's included in a manual therapy session?
Your PT will use whichever combination of techniques fits your evaluation findings: joint mobilization or manipulation, myofascial release, soft tissue work, trigger point therapy, IASTM, scraping, or cupping. This is always paired with targeted exercise and patient education, not delivered alone.
Do I need a referral?
No. Florida is a direct access state, which means you can come directly to us without a physician referral. You can start with a free discovery call to talk through your situation before booking an evaluation.
Is manual therapy covered by insurance?
We're a cash-based clinic. We accept HSA and FSA, provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and can work with letters of protection. No in-network insurance billing is available, but we work to make care accessible through flexible payment options.
