Back Pain Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL
There's a Reason It Keeps Coming Back.
Back pain that won't stay gone isn't bad luck. It means the underlying cause was never properly addressed. We look past the painful area to understand what's driving it, then build a plan that actually changes things.

The Generic Exercises Didn't Work Because They Missed the Cause.
Told to Rest and Take Anti-Inflammatories
Rest reduces inflammation but doesn't address the structural cause. The pain comes back when activity does.
The Same Home Exercise Program Everyone Gets
Generic protocols treat everyone the same. Your back pain has a specific cause that a real evaluation will find.
Sciatica That Gets Managed but Never Resolved
Nerve pain down the leg has a spinal source. Treating the leg without fixing that source means the cycle repeats.
Hands-On, Root-Cause Care for Your Spine
We don't hand you a printout of core exercises. We evaluate your spine, understand how it moves and where it's restricted, and build a plan that uses manual therapy, targeted movement, and progressive loading to fix what's driving the pain.

Spine-Focused Root-Cause Evaluation
We assess spinal mobility, joint function, and nerve involvement to find what's driving your pain, so the plan targets the cause instead of the nearest painful area.

Hands-On Manual Therapy for the Spine
Joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and dry needling address spinal restrictions and reduce pain before building on it with progressive strengthening and movement.

Progressive Loading Back Into Activity
We don't keep you sidelined. We build load progressions that restore confidence in your spine and support return to the activities and life demands that matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about back pain physical therapy at Core Values PT.
How is this different from the PT I've done before?
Most PT starts with a standard protocol. We start with a full evaluation of your spine, movement patterns, and history, then build a plan from those findings. One-on-one, 55-minute sessions mean your PT has time to do this properly, not hand off your care to a tech.
Do I need imaging like an MRI before starting?
No. In most cases, imaging isn't necessary to start. A thorough physical evaluation tells us more about how your spine is actually functioning. If imaging becomes relevant to your care, your PT will discuss that with you during the evaluation.
Will PT make my back pain worse before it gets better?
Some patients experience mild soreness after the first few sessions as their body adjusts to movement it hasn't done in a while. This is normal and typically fades quickly. Your PT will explain what to expect after your initial evaluation so you're not caught off guard.
I have disc issues. Can PT actually help?
Yes. Physical therapy is one of the most evidence-supported approaches for disc-related back pain. We address the joint mobility, muscular support, and movement patterns that influence how your disc is loaded, reducing symptoms and improving function over time.
Do I need a referral for back pain PT?
No. Florida is a direct access state, which means you can come directly to us without a physician referral. Start with a free 15-minute discovery call to talk through your situation before booking your first appointment.
