Postpartum Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL

Postpartum Isn't the Finish Line

People come to us when they're dealing with diastasis recti, pelvic floor weakness, or a core and pelvic floor that haven't felt the same since birth. At our Orlando clinic on Hoffner Ave, we find what's actually driving your symptoms, then build a plan around it, one-on-one, for a full 55 minutes every session.

You Were Told to Expect This After Having a Baby. You Don't Have To.

Leaking You've Learned to Manage

Leaking during a workout or a sneeze isn't something to live with. It's a sign your pelvic floor needs support.

A Core That Never Reconnected

A stomach that still feels separated months after birth isn't permanent. It usually just needs the right plan.

Told to Just Give It Time

Time alone doesn't rebuild pelvic floor or core strength. A structured plan gets you there faster, and for good.

What Makes Us Different

Root-Cause Care for Life After Birth

Postpartum recovery is rarely just about the pelvic floor or the abdominal wall in isolation. Breathing patterns, core coordination, hip strength, and posture all shift after pregnancy and birth. We assess how these systems are working together, then build a plan that addresses what's actually driving your symptoms, whether that's leaking, pain, or a core that hasn't reconnected.

Comprehensive Postpartum Assessment

We evaluate your pelvic floor, diastasis recti, breathing pattern, and core coordination to find what's actually driving your symptoms.

Breathwork and Core Coordination

Breathwork and diaphragmatic training retrain how your core and pelvic floor work together under the real demands of caring for a newborn.

A Plan Built Around Return to Activity

Whether your goal is walking without leaking or returning to running, your plan is built around your specific goals and timeline, not a generic protocol.

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about postpartum physical therapy at Core Values PT.

Do I need a referral to start postpartum PT?

No. Florida is a direct access state, so you can start postpartum PT without a physician referral. Book a free discovery call to talk through your symptoms and confirm we're the right fit before your first evaluation.

How soon after birth can I start postpartum PT?

Many patients start as early as a few weeks postpartum once they're cleared by their OB, though it varies by delivery and recovery. Even if it's been years since birth, it's not too late to start. We build every plan around where you are right now.

Will I need an internal exam?

Internal assessment is one tool we may use when it's appropriate, and only with your full understanding and consent. Many patients see meaningful progress from external assessment, breathwork, and movement work alone. We'll always explain your options first.

Do you accept insurance?

We're a cash-based clinic and don't bill insurance directly. This gives you a full 55 minutes one-on-one with your physical therapist every session. We accept cash, HSA, and FSA, and provide superbills you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Is postpartum PT available in Orlando?

Yes. Our Orlando clinic is located on Hoffner Ave, just north of the airport. Book a free discovery call to talk through your symptoms and confirm we're the right fit before your first evaluation.
