Still Dizzy, Still Off Balance, and Still Without Real Answers?

Told to Wait It Out

Vestibular symptoms that go untreated often get worse. Waiting it out is not the same as a treatment plan.

Seen Multiple Providers With No Improvement

Vestibular disorders need specific assessment and targeted rehab. A generalist won't have either.

Limiting Your Life to Avoid the Symptoms

Avoiding triggers narrows your world, it doesn't fix the disorder. Rehab rewires the response.

What Makes Us Different

Vestibular Rehabilitation That Gets to the Source

We use evidence-based vestibular protocols, including the Dix-Hallpike assessment and canalith repositioning, to identify the specific cause of your symptoms and build a targeted treatment plan.

BPPV and Canalith Repositioning

We use the Dix-Hallpike and positional tests to confirm BPPV, then apply canalith repositioning. Most patients see resolution within one to two sessions.

Gaze Stabilization and Balance Training

Vestibular habituation, gaze stabilization exercises, and oculomotor training are combined with progressive balance work to restore function and reduce symptom sensitivity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about vestibular physical therapy at Core Values PT.

What is vestibular physical therapy?

Vestibular PT is a specialized form of physical therapy that addresses disorders of the inner ear and central balance system. Using targeted exercises, repositioning maneuvers, and gaze stabilization protocols, we treat the specific cause of dizziness, vertigo, and balance dysfunction rather than managing symptoms.

Is vestibular PT available at both locations?

Vestibular physical therapy is available at our Orlando location only. If you're in the Winter Garden area and dealing with vestibular symptoms, our Orlando team is available to treat you at our Hoffner Ave location.

How quickly does vestibular PT work for BPPV?

BPPV is one of the most treatable vestibular conditions. Most patients with confirmed BPPV see significant improvement within one to three sessions following canalith repositioning. Other vestibular conditions take longer and require a progressive rehab approach.

Can I drive myself to appointments if I have vertigo?

If your symptoms are severe, consider having someone drive you to your first appointment. After a repositioning treatment, some patients feel briefly off-balance and prefer not to drive immediately. Your PT will let you know what to expect before you leave.

Do I need a referral for vestibular PT?

No. Florida is a direct access state, so you can start vestibular PT without a physician referral. We recommend starting with a free discovery call so we can understand your symptoms and confirm that vestibular PT is the right starting point for your case.
