Knee Pain Physical Therapy in Orlando, FL
Get Back to Loading Without the Fear.
Whether your knee pain shows up on runs, under load, or just coming down the stairs, there's a reason it's there. We find it, fix it, and build the strength around your knee so it stays fixed.

Still Modifying Every Workout Around Your Knee? That Changes Here.
Told to Rest Until the Swelling Goes Down
Rest delays the flare-up but won't fix the mechanics driving it. Pain returns when training or loading does.
A PT Who Has You on a Knee Machine Twice a Week
Knee pain rarely lives in the knee alone. It reflects load patterns from the hip and foot. Treat the cause.
Pain Every Run, Every Workout, With No Clear Fix
Without a root-cause diagnosis, you manage around the pain. A real evaluation ends the guessing.
Care That Gets You Back to Loading Without Setbacks
We don't just reduce your pain and send you home with a resistance band. We identify what's driving the knee problem, address it with hands-on care and targeted loading, and build a return-to-activity plan that holds up when you get back to training.

Root-Cause Knee and Movement Assessment
Knee pain is usually downstream of a hip, foot, or movement issue. We assess the full kinetic chain so the plan targets the real cause, not just the joint that hurts.

Progressive Loading and Return to Sport
We build loading progressions so the knee adapts to training demands. You return to running, squatting, and sport with a knee that's been prepared, not just rested.

Manual Therapy and Hands-On Tissue Work
Where joint restrictions or soft tissue issues are contributing, hands-on care creates the mobility needed to load and move correctly, before building strength on top of it.

Knee Conditions We Treat

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about knee pain physical therapy at Core Values PT.
Do I have to stop running while treating knee pain?
In most cases, no. We build your training plan around care from the start. The goal is to identify what's loading the knee incorrectly and address it while keeping you moving, not bench you until the pain goes away on its own.
I had ACL surgery a while ago. Can PT still help me?
Yes. Post-surgical rehab has a defined timeline, but returning to full sport performance often requires more than that. If you have persistent limitations after ACL recovery, there's likely a strength, movement, or loading issue worth addressing.
Why does my knee hurt when I run but feel fine walking?
Running loads the knee significantly more than walking. Pain that shows up only with impact or higher training volumes usually reflects a tissue tolerance or biomechanical issue that doesn't matter at low loads. That's exactly what a load-based assessment and gait analysis are designed to find.
What is patellofemoral pain and can PT fix it?
Patellofemoral pain, sometimes called runner's knee, involves irritation behind or around the kneecap with running, descending stairs, or squatting. It often comes from a load distribution issue that manual therapy, hip strengthening, and biomechanical correction can resolve without surgery.
Do I need a referral for knee pain PT?
No. Florida is a direct access state, which means you can come directly to us without a physician referral. Start with a free 15-minute discovery call to talk through your situation before booking your first appointment.
